# Canva Social Media Pack

Turn "I should post more consistently" into a finished, on-brand month of content. This skill plans a 30-day calendar and generates the raw material for each post — hooks, captions, hashtag sets, and platform-correct Canva layout specs — so you can paste straight into Canva and ship. It's built for solo founders, social managers, and content writers who run multiple platforms and are tired of starting from a blank canvas every morning.

## When to use it

- You're launching a brand or relaunching a dormant account and need a full month queued before day one.
- You post the same thing everywhere and want format-native variants (a Reel cover is not a LinkedIn carousel).
- You have a content theme or product calendar but no captions, hooks, or sizing decisions made.
- You need hashtag sets segmented by reach tier instead of one recycled block of 30 tags.

## What it does

Given a brand brief (voice, audience, niche, key offers, any launch dates), the skill produces:

- **A 30-day calendar** mapping each day to a content pillar, post type, and primary platform.
- **Per-post copy**: a scroll-stopping hook, full caption, and CTA, written in your brand voice.
- **Hashtag sets** grouped into broad / niche / branded tiers per platform.
- **Canva layout specs** with exact pixel dimensions and element placement: IG square (1080×1080), IG Story (1080×1920), Reel cover (1080×1920), TikTok (1080×1920), LinkedIn (1200×627 + 1080×1080 carousel), X (1600×900), and Pinterest (1000×1500).

Specs are written as instructions you can follow in Canva manually, or feed into Canva's own AI/Magic tools. Output lands as a structured calendar (Markdown table or CSV) plus a per-post detail file you can hand to a designer.

## Usage example

```
curl -fsSL --create-dirs -o ~/.claude/skills/canva-social-media-pack/SKILL.md https://claudeskil.com/skills/canva-social-media-pack/SKILL.md
> Build a 30-day pack for "Brightroot", a DTC houseplant brand.
  Voice: warm, plant-nerdy, lightly funny. Audience: millennial
  first-time plant owners. Platforms: IG, TikTok, Pinterest.
  Launch: new pet-safe plant line drops June 15.
```

You'll get a calendar table, then for each day a block like:
`Day 7 · IG Reel · Pillar: Plant care myths · Hook: "Stop misting your monstera." · Caption + CTA · #plantcare #plantsofinstagram #houseplantclub · Reel cover spec: 1080×1920, title 96pt top-third, accent leaf bottom-right.`

## Tips & gotchas

- Give it real brand voice samples — two or three of your best existing captions — or it defaults to generic-friendly tone.
- It writes specs, not finished graphics. Pair it with Canva's Brand Kit so fonts and colors are one click away.
- Ask for a CSV export if you're loading the calendar into Later, Buffer, or Metricool.
- Hashtag relevance decays; regenerate sets monthly rather than reusing the same pack.

## FAQ

**Does it publish or schedule posts?** No. It produces copy and design specs. Export to CSV and import into your scheduler of choice.

**Can I do fewer than 30 days or add platforms?** Yes — specify the day count and platform list in your brief; X and Pinterest are included on request.

**Will captions fit each platform's limits?** Captions are trimmed to platform norms (tight for X, longer-form for LinkedIn and IG).
